Twin-wall polycarbonate sheet, also known as double wall polycarbonate panel, is light weight and durable roofing sheet. This wall and cavity structure, as well as the inert strength of the polycarbonate it is made from makes it very strong. This means that it can resist impact by up to 200 times more than glass and 8 times than acrylic. Twin-wall Polycarbonate sheets are ideal for applications where specific light transmission is required. Multi-Walls/Twin-wall PC Sheets come in clear, blue, opal, brown, grass green and various tinted colors.
It is an extruded multi-wall polymer product created for applications where its strength, thermally insulative properties, and moderate cost are ideal. It is significantly lighter than glass, while managing to be stronger, more flexible, and more impact resistant.
